Viv Kane of New York University's women's track and field team qualified for the national finals in the 1500-meter run on the first day the 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships on Thursday evening in Rochester, NY.

Viv Kane has become the first NYU distance athlete to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships since 2013. This year, the championships will take place at the Polisseni Track & Field Complex at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, NY.
